2024 18 Mile Run:
Celebrate 52 years of running on LBI with the 18 Mile Run on Sunday, October 8th, 2023! The race starts at 10:00 AM in Holgate, alongside a 12K starting at the same time. Runners will experience a flat, straight course heading North on Long Beach Blvd, with an average October temperature of 65 degrees and southerly winds. Registration opens on April 21st, with final registration and packet pickup on October 12th and 13th. Early registration by September 15th ensures proper t-shirt and medal sizing. Entry fees range from $60 to $80, with all participants receiving a race T-shirt, commemorative medal, and refreshment bag. Join LBI for a weekend of running and festivities, supporting the St. Francis Community Center!
